The story of the Last Flight Out
is based on the widely celebrated history of the DC-3. From Shanghai to
Morocco, from Miami to St. Kitts, the legend and lore of this nearly
indestructible aircraft has grown since its first flight in 1935.
Flying to the four corners of the world, the DC-3 has captured the
imagination of generations. Fictional characters, real life heroes and
heroines, dictators, freedom fighters, journalists and kings have all
made their Last Flight Out aboard DC-3s. Fifty feet
off the deck, low and slow and certainly with no questions asked many a
DC-3 lived up to the cargo master’s claim that we haul it all…CASH, CONTRABAND & CARGO.
